Xbox 360 new dashboard free download

My question is two fold: 1. Will the Kinect system update affect the custom firmware on the DVD drive and - 2. Will the most current system update listed here affect the custom firmware on the DVD drive? If yes to both, would I be able to avoid this issue by swapping out the flashed drive with a vanilla base drive I have a second dead FAT Xbox and then running the update?

Big thanks if somebody can sort this out for me. Undoo , May 14, Chances are a dashboard update has flashed the consoles DVD drive firmware back to the stock unmodified firmware. You should just be able to buy Xbox games and play them as you have a USB drive you can use for save game storage.

As for been banned if the console is already banned you wont be able to connect to Xbox Live, if not just use as normal as it doesn't sound like your console is modified from what you have said.
