World at war punkbuster disallowed program driver

Posted January 31, I read the other guys problem, but, I don't have nor use steam, I do not have evga programs. I get this. If you're only using the tool to control the fans, you could try RivaTuner or Nvidia's System Tools addon for their control panel as alternatives. Personally, I use the 2nd one. I don't use it to overclock though - just to monitor temps in-game and control fan speed.

The precision tool is known to cause the disallowed driver kick, actually. The one beauty of it, though, is if you change the fan-speed settings, or clock-speeds, for example, you can then turn the program off, and the settings will stick. You just have to re-open it to change things back after your gaming session.

I got it to work, and it is for sure a win7 issue not any kind of issue with PB! I have tested under my main account,which is an administrative account as well as under the hidden admin account with now joy But for those of you who still have problems this is what I did!

First I uninstalled everything PB related first using pbsvc. I also noticed that PnkBstrK. For some reason the file PnkBstrK. The main reason why PnkBstrB. After I had ownership I was then able to add my account name under the security tab and then give my account full control. If you do not, problems will arise! Only trusted installer had partial control and that was it! To gain control right click the folder then click the security tab.

Then right click the file again, then click the security tab then edit to add you account name. Once your account has been added then select the check box full control.
