The setting is 1 in menu 3. You have to have a door open then turn your truck to ignition then turn it off. Hold the valet button and you will hear the siren chirp, keep holding it until you hear it chirp 3 times now you are in menu 3. Push the valet button again then one more time and hold it. The siren will chirp once, when you hear that chirp hit unlock on the viper transmitter and the siren will chirp twice. Turn the truck back on then off again and your done.

If it is an older model the valet button will be somewhere else in the truck then on the antenna, it's the same sequence with that button.
